The Prize Rules have been changed to accomodate all the Open Events. For the Open Events, the Prize will depend on participation. That is the number of entries will directly correspond to the portion of the $700 allocated as Prize. Only the Winner, Runners-up and Consolation Winner of the event gets the Prize. For Doubles events, each partner gets half of their prize.
So the Open Event with the most entries will get the most portion of the $700. The event with the least entries will get the least portion of the $700. Each Singles entry will add 1 while Each Doubles entry will add 2 towards the score.
The Open Events eligible for Prize include OMS, OMD, OXD, OWS and OWD.
Winner gets 60% of the prize, Runners-up gets 30% and Consolation winner gets 10%
Here is an Example of how this would work:
OMS 30 entries (score = 30) , OMD 15 entries (score = 30), OXD 10 entries (score = 20), OWS 10 entries (score = 10), OWD 15 entries (score = 30)
$700 divided by total score of 120 = $5.84
Prize wil be OMS $175.20, OMD $175.20, OXD $116.80, OWS $58.40, OWD $175.20
OMS Winner gets $105.12, Runners-up gets $52.56, Consolation winner gets $17.52
OMD and OWD each partner Winner gets $52.56, Runners-up each partner gets $26.28 and Consolation winner each partner gets $8.76
OWS Winner gets $35.04, Runners-up gets $17.52 and Consolation winner gets $5.84
OXD Winner each partner gets $35.04, Runners-up each partner gets $17.52 and Consolation winner each partner gets $5.84
